The Naming Ceremony of Ayurvastram Creations!

Every time a new garment comes to life at Ayurvastram, there is a celebration! Discussions are held as to what should be the name of the newest member of our beautiful collection. Everyone wants their favorite to be chosen. But that alone is not what is to decide the name of the special creation. Rather it is that beautiful garment itself. What is the color or the print? What embroidery adorns it? What feelings come to the fore when that garment is worn? Ah! The feelings!
I am personally in love with the names that tell a story, that have a meaning behind them, and our every garment deserves the name that reflects its story. Let’s take one of our newest members, Tanya. A beautiful gorgeous wrap top, that is functional as well as special! Tanya is a Russian name, a short form of Tatiana, which means a fairy queen. Ah! I am in love with Russian stories and Russian fairy tales! And once you wear this top, you do feel like a fairy! Free and joyous and beautiful. All you are missing is the tiara! Fairies don’t have to be necessarily adorned in white. But they definitely have to be adorned in beauty.
